Getting Healthy and Happy

Being Heathly!?


Before summer don't you want to look your best and have tons of energy? 
Then you should eat healthy and work out.
I know... that sounds hard... with all the good food out there to eat like ice cream, chips, and CHOCOLATE!
But you still can eat good and yummy foods while you are trying to eat healthy.
At first will will be hard but it only takes 21 days to break a bad habit or to stop food cravings.

Instead of eating chips try eating  popcorn.
or if you have a sweet tooth try my creation.
1. pop the pop corn
2.drizzle honey over it 
3.sprinkle Cinnamon and splenda over the top then toss it together.

Instead of ice cream try to make a vegan ice cream! 
 All you will need is a banana, peanut butter, and almond milk or milk.
1. cut the bananas into the coins then freeze them for an hour
2.put the frozen banana coins into the blender with 2 tbsp of peanut butter and a splash of almond milk.
3. then you are done!! it is soo good and healthy for you.

Instead of candy bars trying eating protein bars or kashi bars.
 my favorite kinds are:
1.Kashi banana and chocolate chip
2.peanut butter clif bar
3. detour bars (caramel nut) .... taste just like a snicker bar

 Instead of cookies try vegan cookies!
They are so yummy! All you will need is oatmeal, raisin, and a banana!
     1. mash the banana up and put it in a bowel
        2.add 1/2 cup of oatmeal and mix it together
3. sprinkle some raisins in the mixture 
                       4.make cookies and place them on a grease cookie sheet
5. bake the cookies for 10 to 15 min. 
6. enjoy! 
(optional: drizzle honey on them)


Since you are eating healthier and have more energy you have time to exercise!
I think everyone needs at least 60 mins of good exercise at least 3 to 4 times a week.
If you are just starting... of course you can make it around 30 mins.

Exercising will make you feel better and relieve stress!

I also enjoy doing tae bo with billy blanks and you can buy his DVDs at target or wal-mart. 

But if you do not have these resources you can of course play your favorite sport, take a walk, run, jog, play with your dog... just always enjoy exercising and be safe.

  1. Great post!!! I think I want some vegan cookies because you have not made me some in a while!!! lol I also want the sweet pop corn....OMG....it is SOOO GOOD! lol
